1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the MOONBOOKS website at shopmoonbooks.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this website or place an order with us.

2. Products & Pricing

All prices are listed in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. MOONBOOKS reserves the right to update pricing at any time without prior notice. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

Product availability is subject to change. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.

3. Orders & Payment

By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete. MOONBOOKS reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion — including orders where payment cannot be verified, where products are incorrectly priced, or where stock is unavailable.

An order confirmation email acknowledges receipt of your order. A binding contract between you and MOONBOOKS is formed only upon dispatch of your order. We reserve the right to cancel any order prior to dispatch with a full refund issued to your original payment method.

We accept payment via the methods available at checkout. All transactions are processed securely.

4. Engraving Orders

Engraved items are final sale. Once an engraving order is confirmed, no changes can be made to the engraving text. It is the customer's sole responsibility to ensure that all engraving details are accurate before completing the order.

MOONBOOKS is not liable for any errors, including spelling mistakes, incorrect characters, or formatting, in engraving text submitted by the customer. Engraving will be applied exactly as entered at checkout. No refund, exchange, or amendment will be made for errors in customer-submitted engraving text.

5. Shipping

All orders are shipped within Malaysia only. Processing and delivery timeframes are outlined in our Shipping Policy at shopmoonbooks.com/shipping. It is the customer's sole responsibility to ensure that the shipping address provided at checkout is accurate and complete. MOONBOOKS is not liable for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer, or for delays caused by couriers or circumstances outside our control.

6. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Our returns, exchanges, and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy at shopmoonbooks.com/returns. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined in that policy. MOONBOOKS is not responsible for returned items lost or damaged in transit. Customers are advised to use a trackable shipping method for all returns.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on shopmoonbooks.com — including but not limited to the MOONBOOKS name, logo, product photography, copy, and brand assets — is the intellectual property of MOONBOOKS and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

8. User Conduct

By using this website, you agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
  • Place fraudulent or false orders.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site.
  • Reproduce or misuse any content, brand assets, or product imagery from this site.

MOONBOOKS reserves the right to refuse service and cancel orders from any customer found to be in violation of these terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, MOONBOOKS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or any products purchased from us.

Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the value of that order.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.

11. Changes to Terms

MOONBOOKS reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of the site following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Discount Codes & Promotions

Discount codes are valid for single use per customer unless otherwise stated. Codes cannot be combined with other promotions or applied to already discounted items. MOONBOOKS reserves the right to withdraw or modify any promotion at any time without prior notice. Fraudulent use of discount codes will result in order cancellation.

13. Privacy & Personal Data

By placing an order, you consent to MOONBOOKS collecting and processing your personal data for the purposes of order fulfilment, customer service, and where consented, marketing communications. Your personal data is handled in accordance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties except where required for order fulfilment (e.g. courier services).
