Refund policy
RETURNS, EXCHANGES & REFUNDS
We want every MOONBOOKS order to arrive exactly as it should. If something isn't right, we're here to make it right.
What we accept
We accept returns and exchanges for items that are defective or damaged on arrival, or if you received the wrong item. All other sales are final.
Refunds
All approved returns are refunded to your original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to reflect depending on your bank or payment provider.
Exchanges
Prefer an exchange? We'll swap your item for any product of equal value. Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we'll dispatch the replacement and cover the redelivery shipping. Return shipping to us remains the customer's responsibility.
Return & exchange window
All return and exchange requests must be made within 14 days of receiving your order. Requests made after 14 days will not be accepted.
How to request a return or exchange
Contact us at hello@shopmoonbooks.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the item. Let us know whether you'd prefer a refund or an exchange. We will review your request and respond within 2-3 business days.
Return shipping
Return shipping to us is the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable shipping method. MOONBOOKS is not responsible for items lost in transit. For approved exchanges, we will cover the redelivery shipping back to you.
Non-returnable items
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstances:
- Engraved items — all engraved orders are final sale.
- Refill inserts and pocket inserts that have been opened or used.
- Items purchased on sale or with a discount code.
Damaged or wrong item on arrival
If your item arrives damaged or you received the wrong product, please contact us at hello@shopmoonbooks.com within 14 days with your order number and photos. We will arrange a replacement, exchange, or process a full refund to your original payment method.
